Correctional Concrete Sidewalk Replacement

APD Construction partnered with Orange County to replace aging concrete walkways at the Correctional Complex on Vision Boulevard with a modern, sustainable solution using Presto’s 4” GW30V Perforated GEOWEB System. The project involved full demolition of the existing sidewalk, earth compaction and grading, geo-textile placement, and installation of the geocell system with stone infill.

This upgrade not only enhanced surface durability and reduced the need for conventional concrete but also offered improved stormwater management and minimized environmental impact, aligning with APD’s mission to deliver smart, resilient infrastructure.
